Wangfujing is Beijing's super trendy (Western) shopping district. Most of it was too expensive even with the exchange rate - because it was all mostly American prices. There was the bookstore though - and the Beijing Olympics store.
Lots of shoppers - and a lot of waiguoren.
Keko Kela! (translation: Coca Cola) The Chinese made a simple translation. The women in the front of the picture thought I was a nutso tourist for taking Coke's picture. Oh well.
Little lobsters, and shrimp maybe?? I couldn't really tell.
Yes, this is the place you can buy scorpions.... and above it were some strange, large, rolly-polly type bug (maybe a bug???). It was pretty gross. I went for something more normal though. Oh yes, corn :) I'm looking a little tired after our long day.
So many people! Ren shan, ren hai.
