Wangfujing - English books!

This Sunday went much, much better than last Sunday. First, Ysabelle and I went to the same church - but in a different location. It was smaller than the one last week - and easier to get to. We also met a young Australian girl who is here studying Chinese language. We talked to her for awhile and it was nice to talk! We all went out to lunch with others from the church and had an awesome (normal!) lunch of chicken and corn and some bread - and the best part of all? Silverware!!!! No chopsticks in this restaraunt. After lunch we headed out with our new friend to Wangfujing which is a big shopping district. Our new friend, Jane showed me where an awesome bookstore was - with lots of English books!!!!! And I checked it out :) Then Ysabelle and I wandered into the Beijing Olympics Flagship Store. It was absolute craziness! Like a Chinese bus except everyone was fighting over the stuffed mascots - the Fuwas. Ysabelle and I managed to fight the crowd and buy some presents for people though :).
After that it was around 4pm so we made our way home - and didn't get lost a single bit! We even got seats on the bus and it was amazing.
After being back for awhile we went out to an awesome dinner with the other interns and had a great time.
